Privacy Policy
Effective: August 23, 2026
Scope
This policy describes data handling for Operations Reconciliation Checker, a Google Sheets Editor add-on provided by Burnes Atelier.
Spreadsheet data
The add-on reads data from the Google Sheet that the user actively chooses to check. It uses that data only to classify configured reconciliation gaps and to create a new exception-report tab in the same spreadsheet.
The application code does not transmit spreadsheet contents to a Burnes Atelier-controlled server, advertising network, data broker, or external database.
Google platform processing
The add-on runs on Google Apps Script and uses Google Sheets services. Google may process authentication, execution, and diagnostic metadata as part of providing those services. The add-on does not intentionally include spreadsheet row contents in developer-controlled telemetry.
OAuth permissions
The add-on requests access limited to the current spreadsheet and the user-interface permission required to display its Sheets menu and dialogs. It does not request Drive-wide file access.
Storage and retention
Burnes Atelier does not operate an external database for spreadsheet contents processed by this add-on. Exception reports created by the user remain in the user's Google Sheet and are controlled by the user's Google account and sharing settings.
Sharing and sale
Burnes Atelier does not sell spreadsheet data or use it for advertising. The application code does not share spreadsheet contents with third parties outside the Google services required to run the add-on.
User control
Users can remove exception-report tabs, uninstall the add-on, or revoke its Google Account access using Google's account controls.
Changes
If the add-on's data practices materially change, this policy will be updated before the changed practice is used in a public release.
